The Car Free Day that is a routine event along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman - Jalan MH Thamrin on Sunday (10/20) will not be held in respect of the inauguration of the President and Vice President for the period 2019-2024.

We will deploy 500 personnel of Jakarta Transportation Agency to manage traffic around the House of Representative building area and strategic spots

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo said, in the Gubernatorial Regulation number 12/2016 on Car Free Day in paragraph 5, article 1 mentioned, it can be cancelled if there are activities/events at the same time in which it requires a specific traffic and security arrangement.

"We will deploy 500 personnel of Jakarta Transportation Agency to manage traffic around the House of Representative building area and strategic spots," he stated, Thursday (10/17).

Those personnel will be placed in 44 spots including Senayan Roundabout to Harmoni, Slipi Traffic Light towards Semanggi, Cideng, Budi Kemerdekaan, Jalan Juanda and Lapangan Banteng.

"We will also send 12 tow cars, including three patrol cars, three crane cars for barrier installation," he closed.
