Vehicle Tax, Samling Service Collects Rp 95.2 Million on CFD

Vehicle Tax (PKB) revenue collected through Samsat Keliling (Samling) or mobile samsat service on Car Free Day (CFD) this Sunday (10/13) reached Rp 95.2 million.

Regional Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) Counseling and Information Service Unit (UPLI) Head, Mulyo Sasongko informed, his side collected Rp 40.6 million from 165 two-wheeled vehicles and Rp 54.6 million from 20 four-wheeled vehicles.
"We open the service from 6 AM to 10.30 AM. In average, we process each document around five minutes. Taxpayers should bring their origirnal vehicle registration certificate (STNK) and KTP (ID card)," he explained at CFD Samling service, Bundaran Hotel Indonesia, Central Jakarta.
BPRD Socializes Local Tax Relief During Motor Plus AwardAccording to him, Jakarta BPRD is currently implementing tax relief program from September 16 to December 30, 2019.
For vehicles produced in 2012 and below will get tax base deduction as much as 50 percent. While 25 percent for vehicles produced within 2013-2016.
Then, for vehicles produced in 2016-2019 will not get tax base deduction. But, administrative fee sanction is applied for all.
"Abolishment for administrative fee sanction will be given if vehicle owners have printed Tax Assessment Letter (SKP)," he added.
He hopes, residents can use this opportunity in order to fulfill pending tax obligations.
"It is the right moment for taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligation. Because it is very useful for city development both physical and non-physical," he said.

Through this service, BPRD follows up Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 90/2019 about Granting Administrative Sanction Abolition and Reduction on Local Taxes as the basis to apply tax base deduction for delinquent taxpayers.
