NCICD Embankment in Kamal Muara Decorated with Mural

National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD) Embankment located in Kamal Muara Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta is decorated with mural and colorful paint. This work has been started since two weeks ago and targeted to finish next week.

Kamal Muara Urban Village Head, Helwan Ginting mentioned, his side not only paints the embankment's body but also repaints walls of residents houses at RT 01 and 02 of RW 04.

"Embankment has just been painted. We are focus on 6 spots from total area about 800 meters. It is targeted to finish next week," he stated, Monday (10/21).

Sea Giant Wall in Jakarta Keeps Being Accelerated

Besides painting, he added, his side also creates mural. While for repainting settlement's wall will be finished around 2-3 weeks ahead.

Through this painting work, his side wants to promote it as Rainbow Village thus later this location can be used as tourist destination. He hopes, this area can increase number of visitors who go to Thousand Islands via Kamal Muara Harbor.

"Every weekend, there are around 400-500 visitors go to Thousand Islands via Kampung Muara. While waiting the boat, they can visit Rainbow Village," he mentioned.
