23 Sub-district Puskesmas Accredited with Paripurna Status

As many as 23 of 44 public health centers (Puskesmas) have been accredited with Paripurna status. During accreditation process which is started from 2016 to 2019, there are 12 of 23 Puskesmas that have undergone a re-accreditation process.

23 Puskesmas have gained Paripurna status from independent assessment team

Jakarta Health Department Head, Widyastuti conveyed, Paripurna is the highest status given as the result of accreditation assessment.

"Its order from the lowest status is Perdana, Dasar, Madya, Utama and the highest is Paripurna," she stated, Wednesday (10/23)

In order to get accreditation, sub-district Puskesmas should meet three main aspects such as administration and managerial aspect, public health efforts (UKM) aspect, and individual health effort (UKP) aspect. While assessment will be done by independent team from First Level Health Facilities Accreditation Commission (FKTP).

"23 Puskesmas have gained Paripurna status from independent assessment team of national level surveyors that is assigned to assess our Puskesmas," she explained.

According to her, Health Ministry targets to hold accreditation assessment for all Puskesmas in 2022. In Jakarta, accreditation process has been done in all sub-district Puskesmas.

"There is gradation in Puskesmas accreditation assessment held by Health Ministry. Thus Health Department needs to be better thus all Puskesmas can reach Paripurna status. Besides, accreditation is held once every three years," she added.

Next year, her side is targeting all Puskesmas to get accreditation with optimal score.

"Thus we need to improve our service quality to public," she added.

For information, 23 Puskesmas that already got Paripurna status are PKC Senen, PKC Gambir, PKC Menteng, PKC Kemayoran, PKC Sawah Besar, PKC Koja, PKC Kelapa Gading, PKC Penjaringan, and PKC Cilincing.

Next, PKC Kebon Jeruk, PKC Tambora, PKC Grogol Petamburan, PKC Kalideres, PKC Palmerah, PKC Cilandak, PKC Pasar Minggu, PKC Setiabudi, PKC Kebayoran Baru, PKC Kebayoran Lama, PKC Mampang Prapatan, PKC Cipayung, PKC Pasar Rebo, and PKC Cakung.
