The East Jakarta Job Training Center (PPKD) provides computer training for 10 students of School for the Disabled (SLB) State 7 Jakarta on Jalan Griya Wartawan, Cipinang Besar Selatan Urban Village, Jatinegara Sub-district.

Besides providing computer equipment, translators are also involved to help deaf participants in the training.

"This training has been ongoing since October 21 to November 29. To support it, he provides the mobile training unit (MTU)," expressed East Jakarta PPKD Head Ahmad Sotar Harahap, Wednesday (10/30).

Participants are expected to have the ability to operate a similar computer to the others.

"They have hidden abilities and expertise that need to be sharpened," he explained

He also hopes they have independence to get formal and entrepreneurial work in order to improve their welfare.

"Our hope in the future is this training can we help in the distribution of work to companies in need. At least they can open their own business with the expertise or skills they have," he stated.
