Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission B continues to support Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Department to be creative in promoting Small Medium Enterprises (UKM) business in Jakarta.

Its statement is mentioned by Pandapotan Sinaga, Secretary of Commission B at meeting to review City Budget (APBD) General Policy and Provisional Budget Priorities and Funding Levels (KUA-PPAS) 2020, Jakarta DPRD Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Gambir Central Jakarta, Tuesday (10/29).
Pandapotan Sinaga stated that his side supports Jakarta KUKMP Department's efforts to promote UKM's business and will continue to support the department to give better innovations and creativity in every promotions.
Commission A Discusses Inspectorate's KUA-PPAS"We continue to support creativity and innovation in order to promote UKM products in Jakarta thus they can be more prosperous as well as improving the economic growth," he stated.
Jakarta KUKMP Department Head, Adi Ariantara stated, his side proposed recapitulation of proposed budget in KUA-PPAS 2020 as much as Rp 120,006839,519 for 179 activities.
"Those amount will be used to create creative bazaars and give a chance for UKMs to sell their products," he mentioned.
This year, he continued
, his side also cooperates with 5 e-commerce companies to help UKMs in selling their products.For example by arranging meeting for UKMs and e-commerce's marketing officers in each urban village offices.
"From the institutional side, we have created 42 entrepreneurs cooperatives and hopefully cooperatives can be the basis for UKMs to collaborate with bazaars," he asserted.
In the future, his side will continue to cooperate with malls managements in Jakarta thus UMKM can get a space to promote their product.
