The Story Book, Love and Ideals that tell a collection of None Jakarta stories from 1981-2016, was launched in the Auditorium Room, National Library, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/30).
This 192-page thick book contains the story of joy and sorrow from the election to the task of being None Jakarta.
Pileup Collision, None Jakarta 2004 DiedDPD member who is also one of the book authors Sylviana Murni said, the making of the book began with a creative and innovative idea from the winners of the Abang None Jakarta class of 1981-2016.
"This book was born from a shared idea with the aim of retelling valuable experiences in writing," she expressed.
She explained the writing of this book was carried out for one year with the strength of intimacy and family ties, as well as a sense of pride having been involved in being None Jakarta.
Besides being a memento, it is also expected to inspire readers and millennial generation.
Jakarta Deputy Governor for Culture and Tourism Dadang Solihin added it is one of tremendous potential in encouraging young generation to develop culture in Jakarta, especially Betawi.
"In the future, I hope the Abang and None can be more creative in developing culture and tourism in Jakarta," he hoped.
The former Jakarta Governor for the period 2007-2012 Fauzi Bowo who was also present at the event said, the book that the book becomes
one of the means to foster a love of Betawi culture and Jakarta City."It tells about the creative process or the journey of the None Jakarta in developing the capital," he uttered.
