According to Kosasih, the ideal amount of TransJakarta bus is 1,300 fleets so the services given to the passengers in 12 corridors could be optimal. Therefore, his party plans to buy 850 buses more in two years ahead.

For that, we’ll prepare the specifications of buses that will be purchased. The standards must be international. But we must also calculate the readiness of the spare parts in Indonesia,” he uttered.
Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, M Akbar, informed that his department will soon sign contract to add more TransJakarta buses.
“Now is procurement process. Hopefully the contract can be signed in the nearest future. Now there are only 600 fleets,” he told.
