Monas Arrangement Budget Proposal Gets Approval

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission D approves Land Spatial Planning and Build Work (CKTRP) Department's budget proposal with total Rp 511 billion submitted through City Budget (APBD) General Policy and Provisional Budget Priorities and Funding Levels (KUA-PPAS) 2020.

Later, there will be several arrangement in Monas and its surrounding

Jakarta Commission D Chairwoman, Ida Mahmudah conveyed, CKTRP Department proposed Rp 114.47 billion for Monas arrangement in 2020. Her side gives approval for that budget proposal because Monas is one of Jakarta's vital object and icon of the capital city.

"Previously, it is mentioned in Monas UPT, but now it has been handed over to CKTRP Department. Later, there will be several arrangement in Monas and its surrounding. We decided to agree," she asserted, Wednesday (11/6).

Meanwhile, Jakarta CKTRP Department Head, Heru Hermawanto admitted, his side has prepared various aspects for Monas arrangement next year. This arrangement includes landscape, interior design, and its physical maintenance.

"We need to ensure condition of Monas interior is better in order to attract visitors as a tourist destination," he stated.
