PDAM Jaya President Director Priyatno Bambang Hernowo said it will be used to increase the pipeline network thus coverage of clean water services can reach 82 percent in 2023.

Here is PMD Proposal from Seven BUMDs

"We'll also use it for procurement of tanker and water kiosk for the needy. It is about Rp 15 billion," he expressed, after the meeting about the 2020 budget priorities and preliminary threshold (KUA-PPAS) along with the Jakarta DPRD's Commission B, Wednesday (11/6).

The tanker and water kiosk will be optimized in areas not yet covered by the piping system.

"We have mapped 75 spots to have water kiosk next year. According to the council's input, we will optimize clean water services to reach all citizens," he explained.

At the same time, the Commission B Secretary Pandapotan Sinaga said the council actually approved the proposal.

"But we only approve the PMD by Rp 1.07 trillion," he stressed.

He added evaluations and corrections were made to the proposed budget for the Phase I Jatiluhur SPAM distribution pipeline, which ranges from Rp 700 billion.

"I think it is not yet an urgent need, as the SPAMs in Pesanggrahan, Cilandak and Pejaten are still in good condition," he stated.
