In order to minimize prostitution act in Tablo Park, Jalan Yos Sudarso, North Jakarta, local administration is going to install street lights there. To resolve the matters, Kurniadi said that he has instructed local Parks Sub-Department as well as Industry and Energy Sub-Department to immediately tidy up Tablo Park. This is because the park is rampant with commercial sex workers who are making the locals restless.

In separate place, Head of Social Rehabilitation Services Section for North Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Israk, told that his party is routinely holding raid against PMKS on Jalan Yos Sudarso. From the raid, the PMKS netted are usually beggars, illegal parking attendants, and commercial sex workers.
“Especially for commercial sex workers, they need special handling and not just merely enforcing the rules. If we didn’t find the roots of the problem, the problem would not finish. We have inventoried the factors that make commercial sex workers rampant in Tablo Park,” he uttered.
According to Israk, among those factors are lack of lighting in the park, rampant trucks parking as well as street vendors trading around the area, and the existence of public toilets and monument which often utilized by those commercial sex workers for sexual activities.
