Residents of RW 09 Kebon Pala Learned About Fire Handling and Prevention

East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department trained 40 residents of RW 09 Kebon Pala Urban Village, Makasar, East Jakarta about fire handling and prevention.

We hope people can understand further how to prevent and handle fire

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-department Acting Head (Plt), Muchtar Zakaria conveyed, it is the continuation of previous training held for RW 08.

"We hope people can understand further how to prevent and handle fire to reduce number of fire cases in the area," he explained, Wednesday (11/6).

Public Housing Occupants in East Jakarta Trained to Handle Fire

In this training, residents were taught about fire hazards and how to put out fire using wet towel or sack and fire extinguisher (APAR).

"We also educate them the proper and safety ways to use gas stove and electronic devices," he mentioned.
