Jakarta's Investment Realization Reaches 95 Percent

In January-September 2019, the Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Department has collected total investment of Rp 95.6 trillion or 95.4 percent of this year's target set at Rp 100.2 trillion.

This achievement tells that Jakarta can attract investors to invest in Indonesia

Jakarta PMPTSP Department Head, Benni Aguscandra explained, his side has collected Rp 41.6 trillion for domestic investment (PMDN) and Rp 54 trillion for foreign investment (PMA).

"Moreover, Jakarta contributes to realize 15.9 percent of total investment in Indonesia, which is Rp 603.3 trillion. Jakarta's PMDN realization is the highest in Indonesia," he conveyed, Monday (11/11).

City's Actual Investment in the Third Quarter is Highest in History

According to him, investment must show a significant increase from year to year. In 2017, Jakarta became the only province with the highest investment realization (PMDN and PMA) in Indonesia with total Rp 108.6 trillion.

Then, in 2018, Jakarta's investment realization reached Rp 114.2 trillion or improved by 5.1 percent from 2017.

"We are optimistic to achieve or even exceed the target," he mentioned.

According to data taken from Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), the PMA and PMDN investment realization in Jakarta for the third quarter of 2019 is the highest than all provinces with total Rp 41.1 trillion.

" This achievement tells that Jakarta can attract investors to invest in Indonesia ," he stated.
