Jakarta Signs Cooperation Agreement with Nine Provinces

Today, Jakarta Provincial Government signs cooperation agreement with Regional Apparatus Work Unit (SKPD) and Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) of Provinces as the Member of Regional Cooperation Forum (FKD)-Mitra Praja Utama (MPU) at the Great Hall, City Hall.

There are four points mentioned in this cooperation. Those are social, culture, food security, and tourism investment

This event is attended by 10 regional secretaries from provinces of Lampung, Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

"There are four points mentioned in this cooperation. Those are social, culture, food security, and tourism investment," informed Saefullah, Jakarta Secretary on the location, Thursday (11/7).

After assigning this MoU, he continued, his side will do all cooperation that can be done. His side hopes this cooperation can bring prosperity to the citizens.

"As implementation, we will maintain and continue this cooperation with real work," he asserted.

His side gives an example in tourism investment cooperation with NTB, Jakarta Government sent a team to introduce Betawi cultures to the local and foreign tourists.

"For example, NTB has tourism promotion at international level, then we will send our cultural actors to introduce Jakarta cultures to the tourists," he added.

Meanwhile, Central Java Secretary, Herru Setiadhie expected, this cooperation to build an equitable economy in various regions.

"I hope this cooperation can build an equitable economy in the region," he said.
