71 Taxpayers Socialized About Pergub No. 99/2019

The Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) socialized Governor Regulation (Pergub) No.99/2019 about Procedure for Collecting Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax to 71 fuel distributor taxpayers in Jakarta.

Jakarta BPRD Service Counseling and Information Service Unit Head, Mulyo Susongko informed, this pergub has been applied since September 23, 2019 replacing the Pergub No. 65/2006 about Instructions for Implementing Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Collection.

According to him, the application of the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB) tariff that is currently charged to taxpayers by 5 percent in all sectors of industry, mining, and forestry, as well as transportation and road contractors.

"But there is a difference. For example, in industry sector, its tariff is 5 percent x 17.17 percent; then in mining and forestry sectors is 5 percent x 90 percent; in transportation and road contractor sector is 5 percent," he explained, Wednesday (11/13).

With implementing this new pergub, his side hopes tax revenue in PBBKB sector can be achieved. Taxpayer's due date for carrying out its obligations is no later than 25th of each month. If late, they will be charged under interest of 2 percent per month.

"We also encourage them to use online tax payment and reporting through website https://pajakonline.jakarta.go.id/wp/pbbkb," he said.

For information, in the Revised City Budget (APBD-P) 2019, PBBK is set by Rp 1.2 trillion and per November 12 its realization to reach about Rp 1 trillion or 81 percent.
