Hundreds of Trees Planted on Kosambi Green Open Space

West Jakarta Forestry Sub-department plants hundreds of shady trees on Kosambi Green Open Space located on Jl. Kemuning 1, Duri Kosambi Baru Urban Village, Cengkareng.

There are 430 shady trees in here, such as rainbow eucalyptus, rain tree, and flamboyant

West Jakarta Forestry Sub-department's Green Line and Funeral Section Head, Gunarto mentioned, this shady trees planting is an obligation for toll road project executors in Semanan, then it is moved to Kosambi Green Open Space (RTH).

"There are 430 shady trees in here, such as rainbow eucalyptus, rain tree, and flamboyant," he mentioned, Thursday (11/21).

Ancol Plans to Build Water Bird Park

Those trees have diameter around 8-15 centimeters as high as 3-4 meters and planted in 2.9 hectares land. Each tree is planted within 6 meters distance. Shady trees are chosen to be planted because it can make the area becomes beautiful and jungly.

"There are 10 personnel who take care for the trees. It can grow much bigger and lush just within a year," he closed.
