North Jakarta will Hold Peak of National Health Day 2019 in Sunter

North Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head Yudi Dimyati said this celebration began with a bike carnival, followed by a campaign to eat fruit, germas gymnastics, health booths, health screening, iva test and bazaar.

"It is enlivened by 100 medical officers who cycled with the North Jakarta officials while campaigning for healthy living," he expressed.

Those medical officers took a bike trip from the North Jakarta Mayor's office to Sunter Lake through residential neighborhoods such as Jalan Bugis, Jalan Warakas Raya, Papanggo and Sunter. Along the way, they distributed pamphlets on health advice.

North Jakarta Mayor Sigit Wijatmoko said that the carnival was different than previous events, as it was collaborated with the HKN, which fell on November 12. The peak election celebration during Car Free Day was also effective as it involved many residents.

"Hopefully it becomes a good educational tool as well as a place for friendship and interaction with all components of society," he hoped.
