DRD Encourages City to Collaborate with Regions Around Jakarta

Jakarta Research Council (DRD) encourages Jakarta Provincial Government to collaborate with other regency or cities on the greater Jakarta.

One of the ways to solve poverty problem is to collaborate with regions around Jakarta

This collaboration is needed to solve poverty problems in Jakarta and its surrounding regions.

Jakarta DRD Head, Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan mentioned, poverty arises due to many unemployed people and residents with inadequate income. Thus through collaboration, Jakarta and its surrounding regions will become more developed and prosperous.

"One of the ways to solve poverty problem is to collaborate with regions around Jakarta," he asserted, Thursday (11/28).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Social Department (Dinsos)'s Social Empowerment Department Head, Susy Dwi Harini mentioned, her side has various plans to eradicate poverty. It is planned through program of developing human, economy, infrastructure, apparatus' integrity, sustainable city and become the knot of advancement.

"We also intensify our collaboration with the surrounding regions to minimize poverty rate," she stated.
