End of This Year, Dinsos Focuses on Completing Seven KSDs

Jakarta Social Department (Dinsos) is currently focus on completing seven regional strategic activities (KSD)s until end of this year.

This year, around 40 thousand elderly received this assistance

Jakarta Dinsos' Social Empowerment Department Head, Susy Dwi Harini mentioned, her side will complete seven KSDs this year. Those are improving elderly welfare through Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), fulfilling Universal Health Converage (UHC), preventing and handling violence against women and children by forming fast response and safe home unit.

Next, improving accessibility for people with disability, food resilience, coaching and integrated entrepreneurship development (PKT) 2019, and overcome poverty through integrated social assistance.

"All are in process,"  she expressed, Thursday (11/28).

For example, her side has distributed KLJ for 40 elderly in Jakarta. Each of them received social assistance fund as much as Rp 600 thousand per month. Including free facilities such as taking a free Transjakarta bus ride in 13 corridors and getting subsidized food.

"This year, around 40 thousand elderly received this assistance. We are targeting to distribute 77 thousand KLJs next year. This integrated social assistance is in accordance with stages planned," she conveyed.
