Thousand Islands UKPDs Expected to Empower Local Entrepreneurs

Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad instructs all Regional Apparatus Work Units (UKPD) in Thousand Islands to empower and involve local entrepreneurs in every activities.

I want them to involve the local entrepreneurs in every activities related to the community

Through local entrepreneurs involvement, he assessed, development in economy and community empowerment sectors can be improved.

" I want them to involve the local entrepreneurs in every activities related to the community . Thus our residents can feel the direct impact economically," he asserted, Monday (12/2).

According to him, there are still many UKPDs who use third party service from the mainland to hold activities that is related with the community. Whereas in Thousand Islands, there are many similar entrepreneurs can be empowered.

"We just want to support their business. Moreover, we often train them and they also need to be empowered," he conveyed.
