West Jakarta Mayor Attends Handover of Land Certificate in Cengkareng

The West Jakarta Mayor Rustam Effendi attended the handover of land certificates for local citizens at the Cendrawasih Multipurpose Building, Jalan Cendrawasih Raya X, RT 06/07, Cengkareng Barat, Cengkareng, on Saturday (12/21).

He was thanked for making the land certificate through the comprehensive systematic registration program (PTSL). Thus locals could have proof of their land rights and use them for business.

3,500 Land Certificates Distributed in North Jakarta

"For us this is very important to present, design and program development in the capital," he expressed at the location.

This was the second time that around 11,000 land certificates have been completed through the PTSL program at the National Land Agency (BPN) office.

"I hope that land that is still in dispute can be resolved soon, this is for the benefit of society," he exclaimed.

At the same place, Jakarta BPN Office Head Jaya expressed, this year, land certificate issuance was targeted to hit 243 plots of land.

"While up to now, we have issued 246 plots, which mean that they have exceeded the target. To the people who have relatives, neighbors, there is still a chance. Please come to the land office," he stressed.

Then Deputy Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister Surya Tjandra added that status of land certificate was official and legal. Therefore, the owner should keep it as well as possible.

"So use it productively. Not only to buy a motorbike or a car, but can make a new business," he closed.
