Tidung Island Conducts IVA Test Campaign in Love Bridge Area

It is part of health socialization for Tidung Island citizens and tourists

The urban village apparatuses together with PKK and Karang Taruna cadres are conducting a campaign of Acetic Acid Visual Inspection Test (IVA Test) or early detection of cervical cancer in the Amphitheater area, Jembatan Cinta (Love Bridge), Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.

"It is part of health socialization for Tidung Island citizens and tourists," said Tidung Island Urban Village Head Cecep Suryadi, Monday (12/23).

To attract more participants, his side opens free consultation and holds acoustic music entertainment.

"They (participants) enthusiastically welcomed this activity. We hope that the number of people who take the IVA test increase," he expressed.

As for the information, the South Thousand Islands represent Jakarta Provincial Government as a national level IVA test participant in 2020. Every urban village can recruit participants as targeted.

"Especially for the Tidung Island, they already have 256 participants from the targets of about 771," he stated.
