Manggarai Sluice Gate at Alert II This Morning

At 5 AM, its water level had hit 680 cm or at alert I

The Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency Head Juani Yusuf reported the water level at Manggarai Sluice Gate has dropped from alert level I into alert II on this day at 4.45 AM.

"At 5 AM, its water level had hit 680 cm or at alert I. Similar status was also spotted at Marina Sluice Gate that hits 175 cm," he expressed, at Manggarai Sluice Gate, Jalan Tambak, Central Jakarta, Thursday (1/2).

Ciliwung Lama Sluice Gate Opened Up to 210 Centimeters

He explained that the water level at Katulampa Sluice Gate at 3 AM reached 40 cm or at alert IV.

"As for the Depok Sluice Gate at 5 AM has hit 160 cm or at alert IV. Alhamdulillah, water from the upstream has begun to fall," he explained.

Therefore all Jakarta citizens and officers must be alert, as there is still the potential for rain.

"Despite water has been come down, we must remain vigilant. I appreciate and thank all the SDA Agency personnel for working optimally without tiring," he stated.
