Two Pump Cars Deployed to Drain Flood in Cilincing

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department deployed two fire pump cars to drain flood on Jl. Raya Cakung Cilincing (Cacing), Semper Timur Urban Village and settlement at RT 11/06, Cilincing Urban Village, Thursday (1/2).

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-department Head, Satriadi Gunawan said, his side drained the west side road of Jalan Raya Cakung-Cilincing that was flooded about 30 centimeters high.

"We try to drain the water from channel into Cakung Drain Gendong River thus flood can recede," he mentioned, Thursday (1/2).

Meanwhile pump car was used to handle flood at RT 11/06 Cilincing Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district. Personnel drain the flood and flow it to the Cakung Drain River that is located not far from the settlement.

According to him, his side has deployed pump car since Wednesday (1/1) to handle flood at Kurus Kampong and Tugu Church at Semper Barat Urban Village, Jalan Kelapa Lilin, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, and Jalan Mangga, Tugu Utara Urban Village.

Besides pump cars, his side also deployed personnel to evacuate the victims at several settlements: Kelapa Kopyor Barat, Gading Elok Timur and Kelapa Cengkir of Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village. Next, Jl. Kelapa Nias, Pegangsaan Park, Jl. Sitter, and Rawa Indah Kampong, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village.

Furthermore, his side also helped evacuating residents at Yon Ang Air Dormitory, settlement at RT 04/17 of Semper Barat Urban Village, Jl. Pejagalan Raya, Pejagalan Urban Village, and Gading Griya Lestari Raya of Sukapura Urban Village.

"Yesterday, we also evacuated two fallen trees on Jalan Enggano and Jalan Terminal Tanjung Priok," he mentioned.
