Jl. Raya Kayu Putih Cleaned Up After Flood

Today, around 400 joint personnel deployed to clean up mud on Jalan Raya Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta due to flood.

Joint personnel deployed to clean up this mud is 400 personnel in total

Hundreds personnel together with local residents cooperate to clean up mud that covers the road along 300 meters using simple equipment such as hoes and spades. They put the mud into sacks and transport it using three trucks. While three fire trucks are also deployed to spray the remaining mud on the road.

Pulogadung Sub-district Head, Bambang Pangestu stated, this cleaning work is carried out since the road is covered with mud as thick as 20 centimeters. This cleaning work also involves personnel from Satpol PP, SDA Unit, Bina Marga Unit, Environment (LH) Unit, Forestry Unit, Transportation Sub-department, Gulkarmat Sub-department, and PPSU personnel.

"Joint personnel deployed to clean up this mud is 400 personnel in total," he stated, Friday (1/3).

According to him, cleaning is started from Colombia Hospital to Pulomas LRT Station.

"During the cleaning, vehicles from Rawamangun to Kelapa Gading are diverted to apply contra flow on the other road," he closed.
