Jalan Jatinegara Barat Re-opened

Jalan Jatinegara Barat Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara, East Jakarta is busy again as it was reopened since last night after being closed for around a day due to flooding up to one meter high from Ciliwung River.

"Specifically for the left lane, it cannot be crossed as there are still many vehicles owned by citizens who park," said East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Traffic Division Head, Andreas Eman, Friday (1/3).

Therefore his side will continue to coordinate with the East Jakarta Traffic Regional Unit and local regional heads.

Jalan Jatinegara Barat still Closed

"We don't know when it can be crossed. Certainly the road is no longer flooding," he told.
