Health Department Provides 24-Hour Health Posts in Jatinegara

Jakarta Provincial Government through Health Department (Dinkes) prepares 5 health posts that serve for 24 hours in areas affected by flood in Kampung Pulo, Bidara Cina, Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

I have monitored directly to those 5 posts, all of our personnel are busy serving victims

Those 5 posts are located in Kampung Melayu Puskesmas, East Jakarta Health Sub-department Office, Jatinegara Public Housing, Otista Sport Center (GOR), and Bidara Cina Urban Village Office.

All health workers such as physicians, nurses, and pharmacists help the flood victims who need health assistance. In this chance, Dinkes also denied the news circulating that Jakarta Government has closed health post in Jatinegara.

32 RSUDs and 44 Puskesmas Provided to Assist Flood Victims in Jakarta

"It is not true that we close the health post. I have monitored directly to those 5 posts, all of our personnel are busy serving victims," stated Jakarta Dinkes Head, Widyastuti as quoted from PPID Press Conference, Saturday (1/4).  

"Surely Dinsos also coordinates with BPBD team. As long as there is evacuee in the shelter, we are open 24 hours," she asserted.

Her side also suggests flood victims who are sick or need medicines prevent post-flood disease to access this 24-hour health post because all personnel are always standby to help them and they provide complete variety of medicines. "Don't hesitate to access our 24-hour health post," she conveyed.

According to dr. Arif Syaiful Haq, East Jakarta Health Sub-department Health Post's Health Post Shift Coordinator explained, his side has served more than 500 patients in all 24-hour health posts in Jatinegara. All personnel also respond quickly all patient's needs.

"Most patients suffer from illnesses that come with flooding, such as respiratory tract infections (ISPA), diarrhea, fever, and skin disease. But our personnel will do our best to serve and give the best medicine," he said.
