11 Sluice Gates in Jakarta and its Surrounding Areas are Still Normal

Only Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate at level III with water level 195 cm high with rainy conditions

The Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) issued an update information that water level in 11 sluice gates since 8 AM in Jakarta and its surrounding areas are at alert level IV or still normal, on Sunday (1/5).

"Only Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate at level III with water level 195 cm high with rainy conditions," expressed BPBD's Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Head, Muhammad Ridwan.

11 Sluice Gates are on Alert 4 Status

Those 11 sluice gates are Katulampa (20 cm high), Depok (110 cm high), Manggarai (645 cm high), Karet (320 cm high) and Krukut Hulu (30 cm high), Pesanggrahan (80 cm high), Angke Hulu (65 cm high), Pluit Dam (-180 cm high), Cipinang Hulu (80 cm high), Sunter Hulu (60 cm high) and Pulogadung (330 cm high).

"People must remain cautious and vigilant," he stated.
