Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate's Water Level Reaches Alert 3

Jakarta Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) announced status of Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate, North Jakarta, has reached Alert 3 and reminded residents near the location to be careful.

Jakarta BPBD Head, Subejo conveyed, based on data collected at 6 AM, his side informed the status of Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate is at Alert 3 level. He considered, the increase in water level was due to light rain in North Jakarta this morning.

"Pasar Ikan Sluice Gate is on alert because of light rain this morning in North Jakarta," he said, Monday (1/6).

However, water level in 11 sluice gates in Jakarta and its surrounding are mostly in normal condition or Alert 4 status. Those are Katulampa Sluice Gate as high as 10 centimeters, Depok Sluice Gate 105 centimeters, Manggara Sluice Gate 645 centimeters, Karet Sluice Gate 320 centimeters, Krukut Hulu Sluice Gate 30 centimeters.

Next, Pesanggrahan Sluice Gate's water level around 80 centimeters, Angke Hulu Sluice Gate 60 centimeters, Pluit Reservoir Sluice Gate 190 centimeters, Cipinang Hulu Sluice Gate 80 centimeters, Sunter Hulu Sluice Gate 60 centimeters, Pulogadung Sluice Gate 330 centimeters.

"We continue to remind people to stay safe and be careful especially in this rainy season," he closed.
