Flood Receded in Cengkareng Timur Settlement

Flood which previously occurred at RT 15/05 settlement on Jalan Nurul Amal, Cengkareng Timur, Cengkareng, West Jakarta has receded. Residents now can carry out their normal activities.

Now people can do their activity normally

Rochim (38), resident of RT 15 stated, heavy rain on Wednesday (1/1) caused flood as high as 1 meters in his settlement. The next two days, flood receded after Apuran River's water level declined.

"All of the flood have receded. Even, there is no puddle," he said, Wednesday (1/8).

According to him, both puddles and flood can recede quickly in the area because PPSU personnel routine to do channel maintenance.

"Yesterday, one of the channels was clogged and PPSU came immediately to fix it as soon as possible," he mentioned.

Meanwhi le, Cengkareng Timur Urban Village Head, Ardi Muhur conveyed, heavy rain caused Apuran River to overflow and inundated the settlement.

"Now people can do their activity normally," he asserted.
