Vegetables Planted Under Cipinang Flyover

The Pulogadung Sub-district along with urban village apparatuses and locals planted vegetables on a 25x10-square meter land under the Cipinang Flyover, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (1/8). 

Its plantation is an effort to use vacant land with urban farming method

"Its plantation is an effort to use vacant land with urban farming method," expressed Pulogadung Sub-district Head, Bambang Pangestu.

The types of vegetables were kale, mustard greens, basil, chili, lettuce and tomatoes.

"These can be harvested up to four weeks ahead," he stated.
