Rain Predicted to Fall in Parts of Jakarta From Morning

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted rain to fall from morning in Jakarta.

Rain is potential to fall with thunderstorm and strong wind in a short duration around South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Central Jakarta

"Morning is mostly cloudy, but light rain falls in Thousand Islands and North Jakarta," stated Taufan Maulana, BMKG's Public Relation Head, Tuesday (1/14).

In afternoon, he continued, light rain is potential to fall in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and moderate rain in South Jakarta and East Jakarta. While at night, light rain in West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and moderate rain in Thousand Islands.

BMKG Predicts Rain to Fall Across Jakarta Today

"Rain is potential to fall with thunderstorm and strong wind in a short duration around South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Central Jakarta between afternoon and night," he asserted.

Meanwhile at tomorrow's dawn, his side predicted light rain to fall in North Jakarta and moderate rain in Thousand Islands.

"Temperature could reach 24-32 Celsius degree today. Humidity is around 70-95 percent," he added.

According to him, wind velocity could reach 05-30 kilometers per hour from west to north.
