City Economy Bureau Holds Business Workshop for UKMs

Economy Bureau of Jakarta Provincial Secretary (Setdaprov) together with Gerakan Nusantara Berdaya (GNB) held Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) workshop at Multipurpose Room, 22nd Floor of Block G Building, Jakarta City Hall.

Hopefully, this can facilitate UKMs in Jakarta to improve their quality thus their business can grow well

Jakarta Setdaprov Economy Bureau's Regional Food and Economy Division Head, Ahmad Chudori mentioned, this workshop was held to facilitate entrepreneurs (UKM)s in Jakarta to gain more knowledge about business.

"Hopefully, this can facilitate UKMs in Jakarta to improve their quality thus their business can grow well," he conveyed, Thursday (1/16).

GNB Headquarters Administrator, Muhammad Ali Fikri stated, in this workshop, his side wanted to help entrepreneurs to find a good strategy through every stages of small and medium entrepreneurship.

"One of them is strategy that should be applied when starting and developing business," he added.

Moreover, he admitted that his side is ready to collaborate with Jakarta Government through Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) Program to produce new independent UKMs.

"UKM has the potential to grow rapidly. Jakarta Government gives great attention to it and we are also ready to support PKT program," he stated.
