Jakartans, Here are Events Schedule for Ancol Lunar Festival 2020. Don't Miss It!

PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol is about to hold Ancol Lunar Festival that will be enliven with various entertainment and attractions to celebrate Chinese New Year 2571 until February, 9, 2020.

PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Corporate Communications Department Head, Rika Lestari mentioned, various attractive events will be held at Ancol Beach, Festival Beach, Atlantis Water Adventures, Sea World and others.

At the Eastern Beach of Ancol, visitors can watch the attraction of lion dance (barongsai) parade from Barongsai Liong and Barongsai Tonggak, the world champion of Kong Ha Hong. This event will be started at 14:00 until night. Besides Barongsai, there are also Thousand-Hand Bodhisattva dance and Lantern dance in the area.

On January, 26, Floating Stage will be performed at Festival Beach together with Ancol Music Special with guest stars: Abah Lala, Ndarboy, OM Monata, Irene Gea, Widhi Arjuna KDI, Vivi Ayu, Neos Sari, and Yeyen Vivia. This special music concert will be started from 4 PM

Atlantis Ancol will also perform Special Barongsai performance on January 25-26. In this event, Barongsai will perform their skills between the foam as if on a cloud. Visitors can watch this performance from 11:15 AM at Wave Pool. Besides, Barongsai and Liong will also perform at Asthatirta Plaza at 3 PM.

Moreover, Atlantis will give 2,571 red envelopes (angpao)s to visitors who buy annual pass, value card, or regular ticket on that date. Those who are lucky can get interesting prizes from the envelope.

Meanwhile at Ancol Sea World, there is Underwater Barongsai attraction that will collaborate with another Barongsai on the land.

According to her, this attraction is called "Guardian Lions of Land and Sea" and it is very interesting because it needs great synchronization between underwater and outside of water.

"People can watch this attraction on the weekends from January 18-February 9, 2020 at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM ," she informed.
