495 Mustahiq in Tambora Receive Compensation

The Jakarta Baznas Bazis gave compensation to 495 mustahiq (recipients) throughout Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (1/22). Those recipients consisted of Al Quran teacher, honorary teachers, TPA teachers, mosque caretakers and dhuafa.
"Each received Rp 1 million," said West Jakarta Administration and People's Welfare Assistant, Amin Haji.

The amount of funds that have been collected las year was Rp 200 billion.
Similar action was also done for persons with disabilities who need wheelchairs, prosthetic hands and so forth.
"Another aid is also sent to people affected by the flood," he continued.
Tambora Sub-district Head Bambang Sutarna hoped that those teachers could improve the quality of education in the capital.
"By so, students are also motivated to participate in education," he stated.
