Commission E Discusses Function of Hospital's Supervisory Board

It has been existing since 2016 with tenure up to 2021

Besides discussing Coronavirus prevention, in the meeting, the Jakarta DPRD's Commission E and the Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) also discussed the function of the hospital's supervisory board, on Tuesday (1/27).

In that occasion, the Commission E Chairman Iman Satria said that the hospital's supervisory board was a non-structural unit in the hospital in charge of conducting internal training and supervision in the hospital. It has members that consist of regional working unit (SKPD) in charge of regional activities and finance.

"It has been existing since 2016 with tenure up to 2021. The task is related to finance, monitoring and providing technical advice," he expressed, at City Council Building.

Jakarta Hospital's Supervisory Board Chairman Achmad Hariyadi explained that its existence was set in the Gubernatorial Regulation number 226/2016 on the Board of Trustees of Hospitals for Regional General Hospitals and Regional Special Hospitals.

In the regulation, the hospital's supervisory board had the authority to receive and provide an assessment of the hospital's performance and financial reports from the hospital director.

"We have five members. There are from professionals, health associations and hospital owners," he closed.
