DPRD Chairman Monitors Monas Revitalization Process

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi directly monitored revitalization process in Monas, Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Monday (1/27).

During the monitoring, his side urged Jakarta Government to add more green spaces in Monas revitalization project.

"Monas is a green space (RTH). We need to ensure that more trees are planted in this area," he said.

On the same location, Monas Management Unit's Service Section head, Iffal Guci stated, during the revitalization, 191 trees that were cut down will be replaced three times. Those trees will be planted in Lenggang Jakarta, IRTI parking lot, then east and west sides of Monas.

"For RTH, we are not reducing trees but adding more trees. For example, IRTI will later become a green area," he closed.
