MRT Phase II Project will Be Started in March

MRT Jakarta Phase II Bundaran HI - Kota Project will be conducted this year.

All lanes in MRT Phase II will be built underground

PT. MRT Jakarta President Director, William Sabandar said, initial stage will be started from Bunderan HI - Harmoni route in March.

"In the near future, we will announce the auction winner. Then this project will be started from March," he conveyed, Saturday (1/11).

MRT Jakarta and PT. KAI Sign Agreement for Station Arrangement

This project is predicted to cost Rp 22.5 trillion. According to him, this project is more expensive than Phase I, because Phase II will be more complicated than the first one.

"All lanes in MRT Phase II will be built underground. MRT Phase II will pass seven stations; Sarinah Station, Monas Station, Harmoni Station, Sawah Besar Station, Mangga Besar Station, Glodok Station, and Kota Tua Station," he explained.

Meanwhile, his side is targeted MRT Jakarta Phase II Project to finish in 2023.
