KPKP Holds Technical Meeting for PKT Members Regarding Product Marketing

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Department collaborates with several companies for holding technical meeting (Bimtek) about 'Improving Innovation and Jakarta KPKP's PKT Products Marketing' at Klender Agriculture Training Center, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

This training applies collaborative system

Jakarta KPKP Department Head, Darjamuni stated, 50 PKT members under KPKP Department participated in this Bimtek to learn improving product diversification and quality.

"Bimtek will be held 20 times in this year with theme of processed foods, that uses basic material from agricultural products, fisheries, and livestock," he informed, Wednesday (1/29).

He explained, this collaborative training is held to implement Jakarta Governor's instruction where each Regional Apparatuses Organizations (OPD) acts as collaborator while communities as the creator to develop City 4.0. 

In this training, his side is responsible to provide the participants and facilities, while companies provide the resource people, practice materials, and snacks.

"This training applies collaborative system. I really appreciate it and it benefits all. Because they have prepared all practice materials including resource people," he conveyed.

He explained, training subjects for the participants are making various processed foods with basic material from vegetables, chicken and fish; chicken fried bread, fruit pie, shredded catfish rolls, ginger steamed sponge cake.

He hopes PKT members who have participated in Bimtek to register for e-Order to expand their business and product's marketing.

"Participants will be trained to make products and process the order via e-Order thus market is assured. But, later we will urge them to maintain the quality," he said.
