Ingub Concerning Waste Reduction Socialized to Thousand Islands Civil Servants

The Gubernatorial Instruction (Ingub) number 107/2019 on Reduction and Sorting of Waste is socialized to civil servants serving under the Thousand Islands Regency. It is an effort to reduce waste in Thousand Islands region.

It also aims to encourage people to do waste sorting from its origin and to promote more waste bank activities in the islands

"It also aims to encourage people to do waste sorting from its origin and to promote more waste bank activities in the islands," expressed Environmental and Sanitation Business Development Division Head, Fahmi Hermawan, Thursday (1/30).

According to him, there are more than 2,000 waste banks in Jakarta and must be added to help with waste management, which is by requiring government offices to have a waste bank.

Ingub Regarding Waste Reduction and Sorting Socialized to North Jakarta ASNs

Thousand Islands Regency Secretary Eric PZ Lumbun added his party keeps holding training to locals related waste sorting and waste bank making in each urban village.

"We welcome the Environment Agency's direction and have already run it, one of which requires civil servants to bring its own tumbler during meetings and activities," he stated.
