Tanjung Barat and Lenteng Agung Flyovers Construction Socialized to The Locals

Jakarta Bina Marga Department continues to inform Pasar Minggu residents, South Jakarta regarding Tanjung Barat and Lenteng Agung Flyovers construction.

We will continue to hold discussion and dialogue with residents

Bina Marga Department Head, Hari Nugroho stated, after holding the contract, his side has socialized residents in Pejaten Timur Urban Village twice about flyover construction plan, on December 23, 2019 and January 14, 2020.

"We will continue to hold discussion and dialogue with residents. We want local residents to understand how important those flyovers are," he expressed, Thursday (1/30).

He explained, his side plans to build flyover to ensure residents safety, especially road users because they had to traverse a quite busy crossing or level crossing.

Besides, he added, this flyover is also targeted to minimize the congestion.

"When flyover is ready to operate, it is possible to implement traffic engineering to accommodate some residents' wishes, so we will coordinate it further with Transportation Department," he stated.
