Hindus people in Jakarta will hold Melasti or purification ceremony and ritual in this February in order to welcome the Saka New Year 1942 or Nyepi (Day of Silence) at Segara Temple, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
This ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020
Jakarta Nyepi Committee Leader, Ida Bagus Banjar appreciates North Jakarta Government's supports in succeeding the Melasti ceremony.
"This ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020," he added, Tuesday (2/4).

"We will ensure the safety around Segara Temple thus Hindus people can performing prayers well during Melasti ceremony," he asserted.
