Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-department repairs selfie spot called Ombak Menari in Karya Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

There is minor damage in several parts, thus we need to repair it

Thousand Islands Parekraf Sub-department Head, Puji Astuti stated, even though it is still minor damage, but it reduces the aesthetic.

"There is minor damage in several parts, thus we need to repair it. Moreover, we will strengthen it by installing more supporting poles," he conveyed, Tuesday (2/11).

Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Pepen Kuswandi stated, his side coordinates with related regional apparatus organization (OPD) in Thousand Islands in order to maintain selfie spot to be always in good condition.

"We will also optimize Satpol PP personnel for monitoring and socializing visitors for not climbing or sitting on the object," he mentioned.
