Jakarta Parekraf Department Head, Cucu Ahmad Kurnia stated, Jakarta Government, both from sub-department and department levels, plans to hold 100 events throughout this year to attract more foreign tourists to visit Jakarta.

According to him, his side also continues to build better communication with stakeholders in tourism sector according to Jakarta Governor's direction.
"Stakeholders in tourism sector consist of travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, and event organizers. We will also intensify our collaboration with communities," he asserted.
Moreover, he added, his side will pay more attention in developing and promoting Thousand Islands' tourism, as well as Sister City cooperation.
"This cooperation is a part of international relation that gives benefits for Jakarta. I am optimistic, with a good teamwork, we can achieve this year's target," he asserted.
