19 Art Training Activities will Be Held at Rawa Buaya PPSB

The West Jakarta Culture Sub-agency is set to open 19 art training activities at the Rawa Buaya Cultural Arts Training Center (PPSB), Cengkareng this year. It is very important as a forum for providing art training.

"It will start in early March until November," expressed West Jakarta Culture Sub-agency's Guidance Division Head, Namin, Tuesday (2/11).

Cultural Art Training will Be Held in 60 RPTRAs in South Jakarta

He expressed the target of art training participants are 30 people, ranging from students, art gallery members to teachers.

The types of training provided consist of Betawi dance, theater arts, batik art, Islamic music, marawis (traditional percussion ensemble), hadroh (tambourine ensemble), choreography, fashion make-up and archipelago music.

"Including mural arts, archipelago dance, craft art, Betawi music, literature and cinematography," he told.

From 19 activities, there are arts performances selected from the results of training and attraction activities from the results of training in public spaces. It is done to familiarize the training participants to appear before the crowd.

"Hopefully participants can understand and practice the results of the training that has been followed," he stated.
