Jakarta Parks and Urban Forests Verifies Lands for RTH

Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Department entered verification stage of land that will be used for Green Open Space (RTH), such as parks, urban forests, and graveyard.
After verifying the documents, we will survey the location
Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Department's Land Acquisition Region 1 Unit Head, Hendy Satrio Aji stated, in this stage his side verifies land plots that have been submitted by the locals for RTH.
"We need to verify it first, especially related to the basis of rights or proof of land ownership. It is important to prevent unwanted things in the future," he asserted, Wednesday (2/12).

"After verifying the documents, we will survey the location together with related Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD)," he mentioned.
According to him, those lands will be prioritized to realize Maju Bersama Park (TMB) since it is the featured program of Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Department.
"Thus it is important to ensure adequate access to the location, including mobilization of heavy equipment during the construction process," he added.
Residents who want to sell their land for RTH can submit an application letter addressed to Jakarta Governor with c.q. Park and Urban Forest Department.
"They need to submit the copy of land certificate, land owners ID card (KTP), receipt of PBB-P2 tax payment, photo of the location, and telephone number. Importantly, land owner should sign a statement that there is no land dispute," he conveyed.
This year, his side targets to realize RTH with 12.5 hectares for parks, 7.5 hectares for urban forest, and 3 hectares for graveyard.
"We are optimistic to achieve our target thus Jakarta becomes more green, beautiful and provides many benefits for its citizens," he asserted.
