This Weekend, City to Hold Naturalé Market at Thamrin 10

This weekend, Jakarta Provincial Government to hold Naturalé Market on February 22-23, 2020, at Thamrin 10 Food and Creative Park, Central Jakarta.

We hope this event can give participants an overview of business opportunities in eco-friendly creative industry

Naturalé Market is a celebration event for Jakpreneur, the platform initiated by Jakarta Government that facilitates, creates, and develops Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through en trepreneurship ecosystem, such as in education, business, social, and others. This event will be enlivened with various activities, such as bazaar, kids corner, workshop, talkshow, urban farming, and acoustic musical performance.

In Bazaar area, many stalls will offer natural and eco-friendly products, from non-processed and processed agricultural products, hydroponic, and household goods. Besides, visitors can join workshop and talkshow in this event for free.

Greening Jakarta, Tens Thousands Trees and Million Shrubs Planted

Meanwhile, Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Department Acting Head (Plt), Elizabet Ratu Rante Allo conveyed, this event can be used as an opportunity to share knowledge and skills in creative industry field, as well as sparking new eco-friendly business ideas.

"Currently, people become more aware with eco-friendly products that are useful for everyday use. Since it is also in line with Jakarta Government's regulation that urges environmental improvement, we choose the workshop theme of Naturalé Market," she said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Conference.

Here are workshop and talkshow schedule in Naturalé Market event (registration via link: bit.ly/workshopnaturale):

On Saturday, February 22

1. At 10:00 – 11:30, Workshop and Talkshow by Rimbun Community. There are fun games in this workshop that introduce the participants about variety of vegetables and fruits, and others, especially for children. Its duration is 1.5 hour with capacity 50-60 participants.

2. At 12:30 – 14:00, Talkshow by Trash Hero Community. This talkshow delivers inspirational stories from the volunteers about the waste world. It is also enlivened with waste sorting games and the winners will get fresh fruits from TaniHub.

3. At 14:00 – 16:00, Natural Bar Soap Workshop by Jakarta Creative Hub. Participants will learn how to make their own soap bar.

4. At 14:20 – 15:00, TaniHub Talkshow will introduce Tanihub as a tech application which designed to facilitate entrepreneurs, especially SMEs.

On Sunday, February 23

1. At 08:00 - 10:00 Natural Lip Balm Workshop by Jakarta Creative Hub. It uses natural ingredients in its production and is safe for children to use.

2. At 10:00 - 12:00, Shibori Workshop by Jakarta Creative Hub. In this workshop, participants will learn to make Batik using Shibori technique in various types consisting Honey Comb, Itajime, and Kanoko. Shibori is Japanese tie dye technique process that creates a unique pattern on the cloth.

3. At 14:10 – 16:10, Talkshow & Workshop by Jakarta Berkebun Community. In this event, participants will learn and try an easy way to plant a crop using materials that can be found at home. Its capacity is for 50-60 participants.

Besides, there are also Urban Farming Installation from collaboration between Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Department and TaniHub for 2 days in a row. In this installation, participants can see the implementation of urban farming concept into a productive green open space.
