The Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) continues to ensure that the basic needs of flood victims are met properly, especially those who are in refugee camps.
Jakarta Dinsos' Security Protection Division Head Ika Yuli Rahayu said public kitchen has been set up in her agency office, Jalan Gunung Sahari II, Central Jakarta.

She explained as many as 5,000 package rice meals have been prepared for flood-stricken areas.
"We have 2,500 meals for breakfast and 2,500 meals for lunch," she explained.
Related to logistic aid, her agency has informed all urban villages to coordinate with the local Social Sub-agencies.
"Besides food, we also distribute rice, biscuits, mineral water, instant noodles, clothes to pampers for babies and the elderly," she told.
To optimize assistance, the KSB (disaster preparedness program for villages) in 20 urban villages that are prone to flood have been operated.
"KSB very supports fast response times of disasters, including floods," she stated.
