Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission A expected Jakarta Government to optimize their work to urge developers for realizing public and social facilities (fasos-fasum) in Jakarta.

Commission A Deputy Chairperson, Inggard Joshua stated, executives should be assertive for demanding public and social facilities to the developers in order to implement applicable law effectively.
"We have Region Regulation (Perda) No. 7/2012 about Infrastructure, Facility, and Utility that regulate about developer's responsibility to submit or realize the public and social facilities to Jakarta Government," he stated in coordination meeting together with Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) at Jakarta DPRD Building, Thursday (2/27).
Commission A Discusses Obligations of Fasos-Fasum DevelopersIn order to strengthen that Perda, government has issued Gubernatorial Decree (Pergub) No. 12/2020 regarding Obligation Submission Mechanism From License and Non-License Holders as the improvement on Governor's Decree No. 41/2001 about Procedure for Receiving Obligations from SIPPT Holders to the Jakarta Provincial Government.
"Pergub No. 12/2020 is also the improvement from Pergub No. 228/2016 about Amendment to Governor's Decree No. 41/2001," he stated.
Thus he hoped, Jakarta Government's Law Bureau and related OPD can be more assertive in implementing regulations and laws that have been made together with Jakarta DPRD.
"Public and Social Facilities will be registered as Jakarta Government's asset. Don't let any developers to run away without submitting their obligations," he conveyed.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Secretary's Goverment Legal Bureau Head, Yayan Yuhanah ensured, his side will
be optimal in implementing the existing legal framework that related to facilities submission."We will use both Perda and Pergub as the reference to urge developers to hand over the public and social facilities," he closed.
