Cilincing People Affected by Sodetan Work Relocated to Marunda Flats

After receiving the key today, they can immediately move goods and occupy the unit

Five households living in RT 09/06 Cilincing Urban Village, North Jakarta, received a key to occupy the Marunda Flats, on Monday (3/9). They were people affected by the construction of sodetan (crossing channel) and agreed to be relocated to Marunda Flats.

Cilincing Urban Village Head Sugiman explained they had voluntarily torn down their buildings themselves. Some of their belongings were sent to their hometown.

Marunda Flat Occupants Only Pay Rp 35,000 for Gas Service

"Previously two out of five households intended to return to the hometown. But they cancelled after receiving the flat keys," he explained.

Additionally the sodetan project was under process already. It was built in RT 09/06 and 11/06 Cilincing Urban Village.

Marunda UPRS Head Ageng Darminto explained relocation proposal was made through the urban village party. In connection with empty units, his party could grant the proposal.

"We place them in the cluster C. After receiving the key today, they can immediately move goods and occupy the unit," he said.
